Four Representatives of Performers

There are 35 Performers ... before we meet them let’s meet the representative of each family... their nicknames are Mr Straight, Miss Curve, Baby Dot and Mr 7-Bend.

Observe them carefully. Each of them is unique. Mr Straight stands absolutely straight like a soldier; Miss Curve likes to curve her body like a dancer; Baby Dot is small compared to others and Mr 7-Bend looks strong, maintaining his posture with a right-angle (90 degrees) bend .

Eight Families

Mr Straight, Miss Curve and Baby Dot each has a family while Mr 7-Bend represents five families. 

 + One bend: Mr 7-Bend and Mr-LBend
 + More than one bend: Mr L7-Bends, Mr 7L-Bends and Mr Double-7 Bends

ABC1: Angles, Bends, Curves

The first set of ABC (Angles, Bends and Curves) in the Triple ABCs Concept describes the characteristics of the 35 strokes (performers) that make up Chinese characters (formations).

Describes the slope of a stroke by measuring the angle it makes with the horizontal.
