Similarities and Differences between Chinese and English

Chinese characters have more complicated formations than English words. Writing English words is like drawing 'lines' while writing Chinese characters is like drawing a picture on a square piece of paper – all the space should be appropriately filled up. In other words, it is about shifting from one-dimensional to two-dimensional creation.
